Friends of Suzanne Morphew had tearfully begged the missing mom’s husband to reveal where he hid her remains, hours after his arrest on first-degree murder charges.
Suzanne went missing one year ago, on Mother’s Day, and her husband Barry Morphew was named the main suspect behind her disappearance.
Authorities charged him with murder this week, confident she was no longer alive but were unable to locate her remains.
“Just please tell us where she is at so we can get the closure that everyone wants,” friend Tish Leewaye said.
“We’ll find you girl, and get justice, and Happy Mother’s Day. We are glad the arrest happened, very glad. I know we are not supposed to be glorious, but you got to have some kind of closure. This was a good day; it’ll be better when we can put her to rest.”
Suzanne vanished after going on a bike ride, with Barry suggesting she might have been attacked by animals or killed in an accident.
“No questions asked, however much they want – I will do whatever it takes to get you back,” Barry had said at the time, offering a $100,000 reward to find Suzanne.
