A bloody rampage in a Florida home had left three people dead and things could’ve been much worse if the suspect’s gun did not run out of bullets.
Police said Michael Ledesma, 32, swarmed the Miami-Dade home where his girlfriend, his children and his parents lived Sunday.
He opened fire at the pregnant woman who was five months pregnant killing her before gunning down a friend of hers who happened to be there.
“He shot one, and one in the kitchen,” a witness said adding that Ledesma fired at his stepfather that ran away from the home bleeding.
He then pointed the gun at his own mother who was holding his two sons, ages 7 and 9, but there were no bullets left.
That gave the woman and kids a chance to escape as police and SWAT came to the rescue.
Ledesma ultimately took his life, police said, after barricading himself. Preliminary information hints to a “domestic murder-suicide incident” as the investigation continues.
