Dallas news, Texas news.

The search for a missing beauty queen ended Thursday with the recovery of a body believed to be hers from a lake she was last seen wandering around.

Lashun Massey’s husband reported her missing on Tuesday at 7:40 a.m. He told police that she did not return home from her morning jog.

“So at about 7:15, I got a little nervous and I texted her,” he said. “I gave her a call and she didn’t answer so at the time I found our security guard down here and said that they had seen her or somebody over in the canal.”
