Philadelphia news, Pennsylvania news.

Philadelphia Police have identified the gunman who opened fire at a Wawa store early Wednesday killing a man and wounding another before taking his own life.

45-year-old Za Uk Lian began his shooting spree by targeting a traveling car on Route 22, miles away from the Wawa gas station where he carried out the rampage.

The woman behind the wheel of that vehicle was not harmed, police said. Lian then pulled up next to a Jeep in the store’s parking lot and shot its driver.

“It appears the three shootings I described were indiscriminate and unrelated,” police said.

The victim who passed away was identified as Ramon Ramirez. He was a married father-of-three.

“People who work with him said he was a great guy, did a great job, everybody liked him,” his employer said. “The driver had nothing to do with this, just got caught up in somebody else’s issues.”
