Emmett news, Idaho news.

Remains belonging to a missing 8-year-old Idaho girl have been discovered at a property days after she vanished from her Emmett home.

Taryn Summers' two siblings, a 14-year-old girl, and a 17-year-old boy had also disappeared last fall and have not been located but authorities said they had remained in touch with family.

The residence is neighboring the girl's home, police said, but it remains unclear if she had a relationship with the victim. She was last seen alive on Monday.

Detectives believe there was no connection between Summers' murder and her siblings' disappearance and that they are safe for the moment.
