White Plains news, New York news.

DMX’s family is by his bedside as he lies on life support, practically without brain activity at a White Plains hospital.

The 50-year-old rapper collapsed at his home late Friday following a drug overdose that deprived his brain of oxygen for around 30 minutes as paramedics tried to revive him.

The extended lack of oxygen severely damaged DMX’s brain with one family member reporting him unresponsive and not looking good.

“Last night Earl DMX Simmons was rushed to the hospital after collapsing at home,” the artist’s team said.
