Former US President Donald Trump is in talks with app companies ahead of launching his own social media network as previously announced by senior adviser Jason Miller.
Axios reported that Trump and digital adviser Dan Scavino are working to create the former’s new platform named FreeSpace.
“It could be any of several companies, with more meetings this week,” sources said about Trump’s involvement in the project.
The 74-year-old’s comeback to social media will be in the next two or three months, according to Miller who added that he aims to attract “tens of millions of new users.”
FreeSpace has been launched on Apple Store and Google Play on Feb. 1 and has only had 20,000 downloads since.
The app labels itself as “backed by science to positively reinforce good habits and make the world a better place.”
