Washington authorities have arrested two teenage girls who allegedly carjacked a 66-year-old Uber Eats driver ultimately causing his death.
The tragic incident occurred last Tuesday when the teens, ages 13 and 15, attacked the victim, identified as Mohammad Anwar, near National Park in DC.
The teens tried to force themselves into the driver’s seat of Anwar’s grey Honda and jammed it in gear as the driver sped off.
Then one of the girls used a stun gun on Anwar leading him to lose control of the car and overturned on the side at the 200 block of Van Street.
Anwar’s body was later discovered on the sidewalk and he was pronounced dead at the scene. He left behind his wife and three children who live abroad.
“The loss for his family is immeasurable,” a relative said.
