The Secret Service arrested a Texas man on Wednesday afternoon near the Vice President’s DC Naval Observatory residence.

31-year-old Paul Murray was a former Army drone operator before his discharge in 2014 due to medical issues.

Inside his car parked near the residence, police found an AR-15 rifle and ammunition. Murray reportedly told officers he just wanted to talk to the President.
