Border officials are dealing with a dramatic surge in migrants numbers that reached in February 100,441, which is more than 100 percent higher than January’s numbers.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) also revealed that about 39,000 people succeeded to cross the border without being checked.

“You don’t know who they are. The big issue is: who are you not apprehending?” Vice President Art Del Cueto said.
