Los Angeles news, California news.

Los Angeles authorities are actively looking for a suspected murderer who had been mistakenly released from Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood and may now be around downtown Los Angeles.

24-year-old Steven Manzo was busted on March 5 following a thorough investigation that ultimately linked him to the 2018 shooting death of 24-year-old Salvador Corrales in Long Beach.

The LA County District Attorney’s Office explained that a court hearing was held on Tuesday morning when a judge “erroneously dismissed the charges” against Manzo.
