One dead, 3 injured when ‘out of town’ gunman opened fire at East Norriton bowling alley

At least four people were injured, one mortally, when a shooter opened fire at an East Norriton, Pennsylvania bowling alley late Saturday.

The incident occurred at the Our Town Alley on the 2900 block of Swede Road at around 2:30 p.m. The gunman had escaped the scene.

“We don’t know the nature of the injuries, we don’t know male or female or any of their ages,” Police Chief Brandon Pasquale said.

  • It is believed that other people may have sustained injuries and drove themselves to local hospitals for treatment.

    “This isn’t a common occurrence here. It’s a relatively safe neighborhood. It’s a small community so this would be our first of this nature,” Pasquale added.

    The suspect may be an outsider to the town, authorities said. East Norriton detectives are being assisted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
