Parents fed daughter, 7, French fries; deprived her of vaccines before she died from rash & starvation

A Florida couple is being prosecuted nearly three years after their daughter’s death of starvation, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

Anna and Amero Akinloba’s were charged with aggravated manslaughter following a thorough investigation into 7-year-old Omera’s death was conducted by suspecting First Coast Child Protection Team officials.

At first, authorities did not think that the parents were behind Omera’s death but further investigation revealed that it was sadly the case.

  • The parents allegedly deprived the child of her vaccines and self-diagnosed her with autism. When she suffered a severe rash, they chose to treat her with an over-the-counter lotion.

    Prosecutors added that for some reason, the Akinlobas only fed their daughter Whataburger French fries to the point she suffered an extreme lack of the vitamin B-3 and died.

    Omare suffered also suffered a rash, sepsis, and pneumonia when she became unresponsive and forced the suspects to take her to the hospital where she was declared dead.

    The Akinlobas are being held on $150,000 bail each and expected to be arraigned on March 3.
