An Asian-American mom leaped to her death off her Hong Kong penthouse on Jan. 6 and authorities believe she suffered postpartum depression.
34-year-old Lili Luo and her 5-month-old daughter Aier were pronounced dead at the scene.
“The woman and the baby girl were certified dead at the scene. Initial investigation revealed that they fell from a unit,” police said.
Lili Luo is the only daughter of Lin Luo, the chairman of Jinlin Real Estate Giant, and had once met with Hillary Clinton and Rita Ora.
On Instagram, she posted photos of her lavish life along with her newborn, though she listed herself as a single mom.
“It is Aier’s 100th day for being in our World. She is God’s way to give me a perspective on life. Thank you for showing up in my life my beloved daughter,” she posted on Nov. 7.
