Sanford news, Florida news.

Florida authorities said that the double murder of a couple found dead days apart was not random and that they “know who may be involved.”

Tiffany Church, a 35-year-old mom-of-two, and her boyfriend, Trodarius Rainy, 26, vanished on Dec. 30 and were last spotted alive at a Sanford gas station.

The following day, the couple’s 2021 Toyota Camry was found abandoned not far from the gas station with a bullet hole on it.

Rainey’s body was discovered on Jan. 2 by a man walking his dog at a local park and the finding prompted police to intensify the search for Tiffany.

“There are separate crime scenes, it does not appear to be the crime scene of the murder,” Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma said.

“Travis was shot multiple times and Tiffany appears to be shot one time. We know who we think may be involved.”

The sheriff added that the slayings were “heinous and tragic” and that a reward of $5,000 is offered for information in the case.

Tiffany Church was a mother of two. Rainey was a 26-year-old man,” Lemma said. “Nobody deserves to die and be found on the side of the road.”
