Son of billionaire Ray Dalio dies in horrific car crash after plowing into store

Hedge fund founder and Connecticut billionaire Ray Dalio confirmed the passing of his son Devon Dalio in a tragic car crash Thursday afternoon.

“It is with great pain that I am sharing with you that my 42-year-old son was killed in a car crash yesterday,” the 71-year-old grieving dad tweeted Friday.

“My family and I are mourning and processing and would prefer to be incommunicado for the time being.”

    The decedent is survived by his wife Barbara and a daughter. The couple worked as project managers at Bridgewater Associates.

    “As parents, we cannot imagine the grief and sadness of their loss,” Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont said.

    “Our prayers are with Ray and Barbara, who have been champions for Connecticut’s children.”
