San Antonio news, Texas news.

The oil businessman inheritor John Gilbert Getty has passed away at a luxurious San Antonio hotel room on Nov. 20.

The 52-year-old was sitting in an “Indian-style pose” at the Hotel Emma with his mouth and eyes wide open.

A hotel staffer came to check on him at around noon when he made the grisly discovery. He was found cold to the touch, unresponsive with his laptop in front of him.

The heir to the billions of dollars was “upstairs lying back on some pillows from an Indian style sitting position on his bed,” San Antonio Police Department reported.
