San Antonio news, Texas news.

San Antonio Police have arrested Wednesday a 26-year-old man in connection with a lifeless body that was found late last month along a road.

Rafael Castillo allegedly told his victim, Nicole Perry, to “shut up” after she started joking over his name at a drug hideout on November 19.

Castillo, according to the many witnesses at the scene, tied the 31-year-old woman and forced her to a detached garage where he used an ax to cut off her hands.

“It’s a gruesome attack,” Sheriff Javier Salazer said. “I don’t even want to imagine what this woman went through.”

Witnesses said that Perry “disrespected Castillo and he wanted to make an example of her.”

Sheriff Salazer asked those who helped Castillo to “turn themselves in and put themselves in the witness column as opposed to the defendant’s column.”

The victim’s hands and other parts of her body remained missing.
