A furious Trump took to Twitter Thursday to admonish Attorney General William Barr for knowing of Hunter Biden’s suspected business dealings months prior to the election and keeping quiet.
“Why didn’t the Fake News Media, the FBI, and the DOJ report the Biden matter BEFORE the Election,” Trump tweeted. “Oh well, it’s OK, we won the Election anyway – 75,000,000 VOTES!!!”
Trump’s tweet came after a report from The Wall Street Journal that affirmed on Thursday that Barr didn’t allow Republicans to make the investigation public ahead of the election.
The Department of Justice is investigating Hunter’s Chinese business deals and not his laptop contents previously leaked by Trump’s attorneys.
“Now it turns out that my phone call to the President of Ukraine, which many, including me, have called “perfect”, was even better than that,” the President said in another tweet Friday.
“I predict Biden corruption, said to call the A.G., who perhaps knew of the corruption during the impeachment hoax?”
Biden transition team issued a statement that insists the President-elect is “proud of his son, who has fought through difficult challenges, including the vicious personal attacks of recent months, only to emerge stronger.”
