A Texas infant has succumbed to her injuries she sustained when her mom accidentally ran over her in the family front yard where she was laying in a swing.
The tragedy occurred on Nov. 13 when the mom lost control of the car and accidentally drove forward, fatally hitting the baby in the swing.
The girl was pinned in the play set, severely injured. Her panicked mother sought help from employees at a nearby convenience store and called 911.
“I took the baby out of the car seat and elevated her head to make sure she was breathing,” one said.
The girl died two weeks later at the Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was being treated.
Authorities have not filed charges against the mom but the case is being reviewed by the Liberty County District Attorney’s Office.
