Los Angeles news, California news.

Los Angeles authorities are actively looking for three suspects who allegedly hit the same road victim on a busy Florence street.

It occurred at around 7:39 p.m. when victim Jose Fuentes was first hit by a motorcycle traveling northbound and left to die as the driver sped away.

Surveillance video from the scene depicted the first crash that incapacitated the 50-year-old man who laid helplessly on the street for a while before being struck again, this time by a white sedan.

Fuentes was hit for the third time, LAPD said, but no information regarding the third crash was made available.

  • “Nobody stopped and helped out Mr. Fuentes as he lied there,” Detective Ryan Moreno said at a press conference.

“The guy on the motorcycle, he kind of went out onto the street, maybe he could have stopped to block traffic and prevented even the second or third collision from happening.”

“But he elected to get on his motorcycle and took off and left and fled the scene.”

Now authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the drivers of the black sports bike and the white sedan.

“A reward of up to $50,000 is available to community members who provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.”
