Ontario news, Canada news.

A Canadian toddler was gunned down by police as they swarmed his father’s truck in an attempt to save him on Thanksgiving Day.

The one-year-old was abducted by his 33-year-old father following an argument with the boy’s mom, a neighbor said.

The woman knocked at the resident’s door with another child asking for “a safe haven” from the infuriated man who had left with their baby.

At around 8:45 a.m., Ontario police located the father’s car and tried to stop it before it crashed into other vehicles.
