Toddler girl, 2, found dead in parked car at New Hampshire truck stop

New Hampshire authorities are investigating the death of a 2-year-old girl who was found unresponsive in a parked vehicle in the city of Londonderry.

Police responded to the scene off Interstate 95 on Monday after reports of a child left for dead in a parked car at the truck stop.

Once there, officers discovered the 2-year-old girl unconscious and administered lifesaving attempts with the assistance of a patrol sergeant who called paramedics.

  • The toddler was rushed to a local hospital but couldn’t be saved. She was pronounced dead shortly afterward.

    Capt. Patrick Cheetham said that the victim is being identified and that an autopsy will determine her actual cause of death.
