South Dakota news, US news.

Even during their last moments, some gravely ill COVID-19 patients remain unconvinced of the virus’ existence and make statements that leave doctors in shock.

A South Dakota emergency room nurse revealed that she witnessed some agonizing coronavirus’ victims in constant disbelief after battling the illness for weeks.

“Their last dying words are, ‘This can’t be happening. It’s not real,” Nurse Jodi Doering said.

Doering added that the dying patients are unable to breathe, gasping for air, and extremely in pain but adamant that COVID-19 doesn’t exist and that their condition was a result of the flu or intoxication.

“The hardest thing to watch is people are still looking for something else and they want a magic answer and they don’t want to accept that COVID is real,” she said.

“Even after positive results come back, some people just don’t believe it.”

Doering said that she was tired of such behaviors from such patients that are often “filled with anger and hatred” toward those caring for them.

“In the bigger picture, when you try to reason with people and be like ‘Can I call your family, your kids, your wife, your friends, your brother?’ and they say ‘No because I’m going to be fine,’” she added.

“It makes you sad and mad and frustrated and you know that you’re just going to come back and do it all over again.”
