He was accused of intentionally injecting 41-year-old Melissa Vermillion with a large dose of methamphetamine to stop her from testifying against him and his wife in court, reports said.

The late prisoner’s 43-year-old wife, Allie Beth Anderson, is also facing criminal charges related to Vermillion’s death that Anderson recorded, an arrest affidavit revealed.

Allie was a childhood friend of the victim since they were 8-year-olds. The couple knew Vermillion had a bad heart condition and taking meth would kill her.
