A teenager was charged with the offense of appealing a man in the middle of the north coast of the state overnight.

Emergency services were called at a house on Gwynigs Road in Duningalong, near Kembsi, at approximately 3:30 am (Tuesday, January 1, 2019), following the reports of the appeal.

The police arrived from the North Coast Police District. However, the alleged victim has already been transferred to hospital by his friends.

The police went to Kembsi Hospital and spoke to a 20-year-old man who had been stabbed in the abdomen.

After the investigation, police arrested a 17-year-old boy after a short chase near Duningalong's home.

The police were informed of another alleged stab in the same house that night.

The police also spoke to a 16-year-old boy at Kembsi Hospital and investigations into the incident are continuing.
