‘Had enough’: Georgia teen, 15, gunned down father who abused mom for years

Appling news, Georgia news.

A 15-year-old Georgia boy has shot and killed his abusive dad and admitted to the murder telling investigators he “had enough of him abusing his mother.”

Tucker Gales is being charged as an adult for the fatal shooting of Wesley Jordan Gales, 66, that took place on October 28 at the family home off Gales Road.

Gales said that he shot his father using a .22 caliber Marlin semiautomatic rifle.

The home was known to local authorities as they responded more than once to abuse reports since Tucker was just six.

The victim was sentenced to one year of probation last March when he punched his wife Deborah’s eye and kicked her head, causing her to bleed.

Deborah had a few weeks ago called police to report that Wesley threatened to kill their son amid another dispute. In 2017, Wesley denied abusing his wife to police, when Tucker intervened: “Yes you did; you grabbed her by the hair.”

“Thanks, Tucker. Now I am going to jail,” Wesley replied.
