Chatter on Twitter was instantly ignited after the latest gaffe of Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden who called the Proud Boys “Poor Boys” during yesterday’s final debate in Nashville, Tennessee.
“He says about the poor boys, last time we were on stage here, he said, ‘I told them to ‘stand down and stand ready,’” Biden said on Thursday night.
The slipup then went viral on social media being the only funny moment of a debate that was overall mostly well-thought-out.
Many posted photos of PO-boys sandwiches next to the Proud Boys movement with the caption: “Poor boys vs. Proud Boys.”
“He made me hungry for poor boys,” another tweeted.
Meanwhile, some poked fun at Biden’s gaffe referring to the band Queen’s song “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
“He’s just a poor boy, nobody loves him. But I’m just a poor boy, nobody loves me,” one posted.
“Starting a new group called the Poor boys, who is in?” Adam Crigler tweeted.
