A Myrtle Beach mom who had admitted to murdering two newborns in 2017 and 2018 has surrendered following her no-show trial.

32-year-old Alyssa Anne Dayvault appeared on Friday at the North Myrtle Beach Police station, a day following her conviction.

Dayvault came to officers’ scrutiny when she arrived at a hospital suffering from a post-delivery infection in December 2018 but denied having given birth.

The mom’s trial proceeded without her presence and ultimately found her guilty of two counts of homicide by child abuse. Her sentencing is set for an upcoming hearing.
