A young Connecticut mother was brutally murdered by her resentful ex-boyfriend who stabbed her several times and left her dead next to a toddler inside her car in the middle of the road.
Rosali Acquefreda, 20, succumbed to multiple stab wounds on Sunday afternoon after passersby reported the car on the Derby border intersection. Her 3-year-old son was also inside, unharmed.
Immediately after her death, detectives named 22-year-old Andre LeFrancois the main suspect in the case. Acquefreda’s relatives described her ex-boyfriend as heinous and willing to “take her happiness than see her succeed in life.”
LeFrancois was arrested three days later and charged with murder and risk of injury to a minor.
