Crawfordsville news, Indiana news.

Indiana Police were shocked to discover dry blood everywhere inside a couple’s home after the husband called to report his wife missing on August 18.

44-year-old Michael Dale Parks left evidence all over the Crawfordsville home where he shot Hope Parks behind the head and decapitated her. In the cellar, officers found the woman’s head and a .22 caliber rifle. In the garage, deck, backyard, and driveway there were bloody shoeprints and blood-droppings.

Parks told investigators he and Hope were arguing when she left the home with an unknown person, he alleged that he called her several times and she didn’t respond.

Earlier that day, detectives have located a severed body under Sugar Creek Bridge that was later identified as Parks’ wife. He was charged with murder and is being held without bail.
