From lavish $28M yacht to cell: Bannon was arrested aboard Chinese vessel off Connecticut coast

The former adviser of Trump’s presidential campaign Steve Bannon has been arrested on Thursday over fraud charges and reporters caught moments of the last night he spent aboard a luxurious Chinese vessel.

Bannon could be seen spending Wednesday night on the $28M yacht that belongs to a Chinese fugitive who is also wanted on fraud and bribery charges. The former White House strategist was on the 150-foot yacht in Long Island Sound near Westbrook. He was wearing a white shirt and khakis.

The luxurious boat was listed for sale in April 2014. It was described as meticulously kept with 22mph speed and white bleached oak interior. It contains five staterooms that can carry ten guests and eight crew members.
