The parents of an Oregon teen are desperately looking for her after she ran away from home leaving her leukemia medication behind.
Amelia Patterson is in the middle of a fierce battle with leukemia and needs to take her treatment. She is believed to have fled her Gresham home last Saturday with her 17-year-old Xavier Dashawn Sutton.
“My daughter is 13 and ran away with him last night,” Amelia’s dad said. “If you know Xavier’s location please call 911 my daughter has cancer and is in extreme danger if you know either of their locations please call 911.”
The teen’s mom said she’s been looking for her around the home every day: “She’s been battling leukemia since February, and it’s necessary for her to beat cancer.”
