Orange County news, Florida news.

A brief dispute over a long drive-thru at an Orange County Burger King restaurant turned deadly when a customer opened fire at the fast-food employee Sunday night.

Desmond Armond Joshua, 22, was working at the restaurant when a woman began insulting other customers over the long line and slow service prompting Joshua to ask her to leave if she couldn’t wait.

That’s when a man emerged from the woman’s car holding a firearm and threatening to kill Joshua: “You got two seconds before I shoot you,” witnesses heard 37-year-old Kelvis Rodriguez-Tormes say before firing at the victim, killing him.

“We are deeply saddened to hear of the tragic incident that took place on 7643 E. Our deepest condolences go out to Desmond’s family and friends,” the restaurant said in a statement.
