Buford news, Georgia news.

A 30-year-old Georgia man is facing criminal charges after being considered a person of interest in the killing of his girlfriend who was found bleeding from a bullet wound in the head at her vehicle on the side of Interstate 985 in Buford.

Lawrence Gray called the police saying that Katlyn Head, 30, turned the gun on herself amid a heated argument with him in her car. But the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office contradicted Gray’s claims and confirmed that Head was murdered which led to Gray’s arrest.

He was taken into custody on July 31 on several charges including felony murder and aggravated assault.
