The body of Glee star Naya Rivera has been located in Lake Piru where she disappeared nearly a week ago while on a trip with her 4-year-old son, California Police said.
“Based on the location of where the body was found, physical characteristics of the body, clothing found on the body, and the physical condition of the body, as well as the absence of any other persons reported missing in the area, we are confident that the body we found is that of Naya Rivera,” Sheriff Bill Ayub said.
It has been a thorough mission for detectives and divers who described it as “a Braille search” due to the poor visibility and depth of waters. The actress’s corpse was found near the surface in the northeastern portion of the lake where the water was 35 to 60 feet deep, police said.
