San Diego news, California news.

California police are asking for the public’s help to find a 27-year-old woman who went missing Wednesday night after posting strange messages on Facebook.

A friend of Katelyn Schwindt called San Diego County Police to report odd posts on her Facebook page in which she suggested being kidnapped and abused by a man called Jeffroy Curry from whom she got a drive and begged for help to escape: “PLEASE IM IN NEED OF HELP BAD IM INJURED I THINK IM BEING KIDNAPPED,” Schwindt wrote in the messages that were sometimes indecipherable.

She had brown hair, brown eyes, and is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighs 135 pounds. Authorities are asking anyone with information that could help to locate her to contact 760-510-5200.
