A Grand Jury in Georgia has indicted a father, his son, and an acquaintance of theirs on felony and malice murder charges in the case of jogger Ahmaud Arbery who was unarmed when shot dead in February.

Greg and Travis McMichael along with William Roddie Bryant are facing several charges including malice murder, felony murder, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, and attempt to commit false imprisonment in connection to the black jogger’s shooting death.

“This is another positive step, another great step, for finding justice for Ahmaud and this family,” attorney Joyette M. Holmes said.

The McMichael’s and Bryant have chased Arbery who jogged in their neighborhood before blocking him in a creek and firing at him several times. The trio was well known for being racist.
