China news.

Researchers in Beijing, China have focused on developing a cure for the deadly coronavirus and are currently testing a drug that shows unprecedented accuracy in the fight of the novel virus.

According to Sunney Xie, the director of the Peking University where the studies were conducted, the drug “astronomically” reduces the viral load, the amount of the virus in the system, by a factor of 2,500.

The cure consists of “neutralizing antibodies” from COVID-19 patients that have successfully fought the illness and injecting them into new hosts, providing them with a figurative blueprint that can somehow “show” the immunity system how to handle and stop the deadly bug, if it attacked the hosts’ cells.
