A Texas man turned himself into the Baytown Police Department and admitted shooting his 36-year-old wife to death during an escalated dispute last Tuesday.
Police arrived at Jason Armster’s Harris County house where they were reportedly “greeted at the door by the couple’s three children, ages 4, 7, and 11-year-old, who pointed to a bedroom where they thought their mother was asleep.” Once inside the room, they found the lifeless body of Charlene Armster in a bed. She has suffered one bullet wound to the back of her head. Her husband faces murder and tampering with physical evidence charges relating to her death.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said: “Whenever there’s a situation where people need to be isolated at home, that sometimes it only grows the problem of domestic violence.”
