Tennessee woman, 28, in custody after lifeless bodies of grandparents found at Camden residence

A 28-year-old woman was taken into custody and charged with two counts of criminal homicide after she murdered her grandparents at the family residence in Camden.

According to detectives, Katelyn Taylor is being held at the Benton County Jail on a $500,000 bail following the killing of her grandparents, Eugene McDaniel, 82, and Celeste McDaniel, 67.

The victims’ deceased bodies were found by cops amid a welfare check after they received a call from a neighbor reporting that the couple disappeared and have not shown up for a while. Upon arrival, police found the couple’s cars in the garage while the doors of their home were locked.

Meanwhile, the case is being investigated by TBI agents with the assistance of the Attorney General for the 24th district in Tennessee Matt Stowe.
