A wordless call had reportedly led authorities to three deceased family members in the garage of an empty Norwalk home on Monday.
The victims were identified as Gessell Moncado, 5, and Jesus Moncado, 4, and their father Yimi Moncado. The incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide after relatives said that Moncado had divorced the children’s mom in 2017 and refused to return them after a visitation.
Police have received a mysterious call at around 7:35 a.m. Monday and traced it to the home in Elizabeth Street. The victims were found in the detached garage. Reports said that the home belonged to a family relative and was scheduled for demolition.
The victims’ cause of death is being investigated.
