A teenager was killed and another injured in the I-85 crash returning home after a concert in Atlanta Monday at 12:15, according to the Anderson County Coroner's Office.
Troopers said the accident involved a 2009 Mitsubishi four-door white sedan.
The 19-year-old driver was wearing a seat belt and was declared dead at the scene, according to the coroner's office.
An 18-year-old passenger from Spencer, North Carolina, was also injured in the accident, Troopers said. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Deputy Coroner Don McCown said the two teenagers had attended a concert in Atlanta Sunday night and were heading to Charlotte.
Two fire trucks and an ambulance were also on the scene.
