Terrelle Pryor, the Ex-Jets wide receiver is listed in critical condition after being stabbed in his luxurious Pittsburgh apartment on Friday.
The 30-year-old player was stabbed in the chest and shoulder in his home in Heinz Lofts and had undergone surgery. He remains in critical but stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
The investigation into the attack is underway as an unidentified woman was taken into custody at Pittsburgh Police Headquarters.
Pryor, a Pennsylvania native, was an exceptional player at Ohio State University. He was first drafted as a quarterback by the Oakland Raiders in 2011 and had played for five teams. He still holds the NFL record for the longest touchdown run by a quarterback.
