California authorities announced Wednesday the arrest of a 25-year-old mother who has delivered her stillborn baby with "toxic levels of meth" in his blood.
On Monday, an arrest warrant has been issued for Chelsea Becker, a mother of three, after she gave birth to the infant on September 10.
After a tip that helped to locate her, police reportedly arrested Becker in Visalia. She was taken to the Kings County Jail. Her bail is set at $5 million.
All of Becker's children, 4, 3, and 1-year-old "were born addicted to meth," and were taken into the custody of Child Protective Services, Hanford Police Sgt. Justin Vallin told reporters: "The levels of methamphetamine in this baby's system were such high levels, even for an adult, she was using almost the whole entire time she was pregnant."
