A Seguin woman was found living at the same home with the skeletal remains of her dead mother since her death in 2016.
The disturbing discovery was made by police officers who responded to a child abuse report according to which the woman caused injury to her 15-year-old daughter.
Police officers found out that the woman, identified as 47-year-old Delissa Navonne Crayton, failed to seek medical treatment to her elderly mother following a fall and left her to die before moving her corpse to the next bedroom where she decayed in plain sight of Crayton and her teen daughter.
She is being held in the Guadalupe County Jail on $200,000 bond. Her offense is punishable by imprisonment from two to 20 years.
