An intoxicated driver has been arrested after he crashed his SUV into a home, killing a mother and two of her daughters.
46-year-old Felix Ferdin was charged with three counts of gross vehicular manslaughter and felony driving under the influence in connection to the death of 38-year-old Mari Luz Jacinto-Hernandez and her two daughters, ages 5 and 3, while another 10-year-old daughter was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Ferdin was suspected of using alcohol or drugs before getting behind the wheel, according to The California Highway Patrol. He was arrested on the scene and was booked to jail with his bond set at $100,000. It was not clear if he had an attorney.
