San Fransisco authorities are intensifying their search for an automotive writer who vanished near a fast-moving river while testing a motorcycle for his next story.
Boats, drones and police crews are looking for David Gordon Johnson who went missing since June 5. His clothes, cellphone, and laptop were located a few feet away from the Mokelumne River. Calaveras County Lt. Anthony Eberhardt said that no foul play is sought in the disappearance of the 44-year-old who was heading back home after testing a Honda CB1000R motorcycle for an upcoming article. The motorcycle was found at a rest stop on Friday.
The state waterways are currently reaching high speed running as snowpack starts melting.
