Saint-Louis news, Missouri news.

Constituency Judge Michael Stelzer accepted Planned Parenthood's application for a preliminary injunction, extending his temporary restraining order prohibiting Missouri from authorizing the expiration of the St. Louis Clinic's license.

Stelzer also ordered the Missouri Department of Health and Seniors to decide by June 21 if the clinic's license needed to be renewed. The agency refused to renew the abortion license.

Clinic leaders said the state's initiative was part of an anti-abortion administration's efforts to eliminate the procedure in Missouri.
