Teen arrested for last weekend murder

A Chicago teenager has been arrested in connection to shooting death that occurred on May 4, Police reports said on Sunday.

Marquez D. Walker-McVae, 18-year-old, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder after he allegedly shot Xavier Collins, 20, to death in the 800 block of 13th Street. Responding officers found Collins suffering from a bullet wound. He was rushed to Advocate Condell Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Walker-Mc-Vae was arrested on Friday without incident by Lake County Major Crime Task Force in a North Chicago neighborhood.

A judge set his bond at $1.5 million. He was booked into prison and is awaiting his next Friday court hearing.
